The picture is the City version, not the Travel. Travel has a very smooth central tread with semi-circular patterns on either side. I purchased the Travel 700x42's to replace the noisy 700X38's on my cyclocross bike. I worried the 42's would be a tight fit in the lower frame, but they are no wider than the 38's I had. They appear to be a little taller and heavier with the thick flat protection layer, giving a very plush ride (adjust your cycle-computer accordingly). There is very little rolling resistance even at 60 psi...they are fast! Recommended.
